This game I have rather mixed feelings about primarily due to the fact that the balancing in this game feels off a considerable amount. What I mean by this is that the early game is exceedingly brutal and the further you get the easier things become. This is very strange when at the start of the game everything kills you in one hit (no joke) and at the end due to the fact everything is vulnerable to status effects the final boss literally CANNOT DAMAGE YOU, or can't damage you more than poison hurts him. I swear what is with developers making poison like the deadliest status in the universe? But besides that it is obvious the person who made this wanted to try and make something of his own. And he did a good job, even if the writing is cringe worthy. That and the game ends on a cliffhanger that I kinda expected but not in the vein that the game actually pulled off, so I was impressed to an extent. But the entire battle system feels like it needs an overhaul especially in the early game. For example you get your first two party members at around the same time. However by the time I reached the 3rd they were both lv 6, and she was only lv 3. Sure it took a bit of grinding but she did catch up. That and personally my biggest complaint is that at the start of the game you are dirt broke in every sense of the word, and by end game you will inevitably have so much money that you don't know what to do with it! I had over 5k ducars at the end of the game and there's virtually no shops to spend it on!!!! That and there's very little equipment in the game. What put a bad taste in my mouth there is that the armor of light (supposedly the best heavy armor in the game) has WORSE STATS than the orc armor that you can buy in the 2nd equipment shop you visit. THERE ARE ONLY 2 EQUIPMENT SHOPS WHAT THE BLECK????? Yeah that also feels like this game was majorly shortened.. Started of as good turned to bad halve way, which is very short, since it took 5 hours to do everything in this game. Such short amount of hours in RPG is unacceptable. Other things are not good too: You get randome encouters way to often, combat is boring, long and repetitive, numbers you see on accuracy are lies, otherwise I don't know how in 10 turn fight with acc at 95% i missed 4 out of 10 attacks, 3 of which was in a row, monsters have way to much HP. Story was okay, but generic. Music's forgetable and only thing I liked was few gravestone jokes. Overall not good.. In Vitra is a decent game. It is definitely worth the money I spent on it, and I would buy the sequel, if there was one. It is not an especially difficult game, in fact, after a few hours I found out that you could run away from the majority of the enemies, and still progess in the game. I finished the game at Level 14 for all my characters, and was able to beat the final Boss with 19 out of 25 Full Potions remaining in my Inventory (I will say that the Final Boss was a bastard to kill). JRPGs are my thing, having slogged my way through Millenium, every blessed part, and others of its kind, and God knows there are worse games in this genre than In Vitra. It's kind of basic, but I enjoyed it and hope the producers continue to grow and create better and better product.. too short , i finished it about 5 hours play. Nice game and cool ending. Already wondering if there will be a sequel.... In Vitra is a pretty average JRPG. I have some mixed feelings about the game, but I enjoyed it in general, so I'd like to recommend it.What I liked about it:+ nice little story with a lot potential for the future (sequel)+ the characters were likeable+ a surprising twist+ classical combat \/ linear storyline + no bugs, controller was working just fineOn the downside:- rather short, it took me about 8 hours and I'm more of a slow player- a little pricey for the actual amount of play time- no real replay value. Nice game and cool ending. Already wondering if there will be a sequel...
